Vasiya has more than a decade of experience working with professional services firms to generate media exposure furthering their business development goals. She has served as an in-house media relations representative to a national law firm and has worked as a consultant to numerous firms around the United States. She has also worked for an advertising firm in Chicago. Vasiya regularly seeks strategic media opportunities for clients pertaining to breaking issues and industry trends, as well as feature stories for national and local publications.
I consider myself an extension of each client so it is very important that I understand their goals and vision, so I can convey that to the media. On any given day I am a sounding board, the eyes and ears on breaking news and the scrappy PR pro pounding the pavement for the ultimate interview opportunity. For me, I am most happy when I’m in the trenches.
"Human nature will not flourish, any more than a potato, if it be planted and replanted, for too long a series of generations, in the same worn-out soil. My children have had other birthplaces, and, so far as their fortunes may be within my control, shall strike their roots into unaccustomed earth." - Nathaniel Hawthorne, “The Custom House”

I've always had a common sense approach to public relations and take great satisfaction in providing value to clients who pay for meaningful results. Ask and you will receive should be the motto of Bame Public Relations. During our association Cheryl and her team have said what they would do and delivered what they promised. My business has grown in great part because of Cheryl’s expertise.
I have worked with Cheryl for a number of years and two different law firms. While many PR people claim to be and are creative, it is only the truly exceptional that match both creativity with exceptional follow through. Cheryl is creative and a pleasure to work with, but it is Cheryl’s follow through that puts her in the category of the exceptional.
Bame PR is considered an important member of our firm’s marketing and business development team. Cheryl and her colleagues offer valuable insight and experience that is rare. They are incredibly responsive in bringing our media objectives to fruition. It is a pleasure to collaborate with Cheryl and her team!
Cheryl Bame and her team are the most proactive outside PR people I know. In my 20 years in legal PR, I’ve hired numerous agencies for both retained and project work, and she is the only one who makes me and the partners at my firm feel like we’re her only client. Her deliverables are second only to the relationships she has established with the media. her demeanor with the partners is exceptional -- she asks the smart, intuitive questions that establish her credibility with them immediately. The cherry on the sundae is that she’s a pleasure to work with. I look like a genius for hiring her.
