How I Approach Public Relations

Media relations is my happy place. However, to me, the first and most important step in any quality public relations program is to thoroughly understand my clients’ business development objectives, identify their target clients, and determine the reputation they would like to establish. Then, I aggressively pursue and secure the most strategic and best possible media stories that benefit their bottom line.

Experience

Rebecca Green is regarded as one of the most skilled strategic public relations and media relations professionals in the country.

For nearly two decades, Rebecca has raised the profile of national and international business-to-business companies in a broad range of industries, including law firms/individual attorneys/lobbyists/legal services; professional services, construction and manufacturing; as well as individual c-suite executives and entrepreneurs.

Acknowledged as one of the “best in the business” with in-depth knowledge of the media, Rebecca has a true talent and passion for listening to and absorbing her clients’ business needs and objectives, and then strategically framing and communicating their story to the media.  The increased visibility then paves the way to increased purchasing behavior from target audiences and/or confidently enabling them to enter a boardroom with name recognition.

In her spare time, Rebecca is also a staunch advocate for special education. She has served as an elected member of the Citywide District 75 Council focused on the most severely disable children in New York City’s public school system; testified on special education busing before the New York City Council; and authored numerous New York State Special Education complaints leading to investigations and real changes in the special education of children in New York City. Rebecca has also served as a board member for Families First Brooklyn.
